The current Constitution of the Commonwealth of Australia has been in operation for over 120 years. In that time Australia has evolved and developed into a modern society with established values and beliefs. It is time for a new Constitution to properly reflect the nation that we have become.

Our Mission

The mission of the New Aussie Constitution Trust is to:

• develop and improve the draft New Aussie Constitution;

• raise awareness of the draft New Aussie Constitution among Australian citizens;

• generate interest in the opportunity to replace the existing Constitution;

• gather input from a diverse range of ordinary Australians to improve the draft;

• promote the draft New Aussie Constitution as a possible alternate Constitution; and

• enable and facilitate the opportunity for Australians to vote on the New Aussie Constitution.
